A day of events, tours and workshops happening all over the Liberties! Use the map and list of events to see what you might discover! All workshops are free but spaces are limited and given on a first come first served basis.

You can self-guide and explore the church and the small exhibition in our Visitor Centre or take a guided tour with one of our knowledgeable guides.

St Audeon's tours

St Audoen's Visitor Centre

9:30am - 5:30pm

Sited at the heart of medieval Dublin, St Audoen’s Church is the oldest remaining parish church in Dublin which is still in use. You can visit this very historic building dating back to 1169 and view its many original features including a 12th century baptismal font, a charming cenotaph commemorating a Knight and his Lady, ornate 17th century wall memorials, the so-called ‘Lucky Stone’ of Dublin, the surprise that is the Portlester Chapel, invisible from the street and the remains of a 13th century laneway, uncovered during excavations.

Open day at Flanagan's Fields

Drop in to Flanagan's Fields and get an insight into the hive of acitvity that happens in this community garden and allotments.

Local guides showing you what it’s like to live in the Liberties. In Our Shoes Tours takes you right to that heart. It invites you to uncover those secrets. To understand its community. Local guides will lead you off the beaten track, through local history and folklore, by landmarks famous and hidden, through high streets and back lanes – right to the heart of The Liberties, the heart of Dublin.

How Long After Best Before by Dublin-based French artist Liliane Puthod brings together new and existing works in a large-scale installation. Considering the exhibition as a temporal dispositif, the gallery space will be transformed into an atmospheric and fully immersive installation for the audience to experience as if one was stepping into a concept store or an archaeological site; in other words a place yet to be discovered and apprehended.

Drink and Draw @ Lucky's

Come along for a day of drawing in Lucky's! Drink and Draw concept is very simple, just bring your friends and practice drawing when drinking a pint of beer!
The first 30 people to bring their piece of art to the bar staff will get a free Hopfully Brewing pint!
The best draw will get a Hopfully Brewing kit of beers and t-shirt! Pizza by Coke Lane Pizza

Barrel of laughs @ Teelings

Barrel of Laughs comedy night returns to Teeling Whiskey Distillery this July 20th at 6:30pm with a stellar line-up as always, featuring Colm O’Regan, Emma Doran, Patser Murray and MC Karl Spain rounding off a great night!
